Mussomeli and the Ancient Castle Fair: the prestigious event at the end of August
One of Sicily's most important livestock fairs, featuring shows and cooking demonstrations
The Ancient Castle Fair in Mussomeli takes place in September in the rural area below the castle, celebrating the Feast of the Madonna del Castello and the castle's celebrations.
This centuries-old fair is now one of the most important Sicilian livestock fairs.
The event includes tastings of typical regional products, show cooking, the "Animated Castle" event with a grand historical parade, jugglers, musicians, flag throwers, and extras, a photographic exhibition of the ancient fair, and a play area for children to interact with animals, as well as artistic and entertainment performances.
This year, we will be present again to showcase our typical products.
